I am a secondary level science teacher with strong interests in technology education and problem-based learning. I strive for a student-centered and technology-driven classroom that provides authentic, not gimmicky, learning opportunities for students, as well as transparency in the learning process.
I am in my eighth year of teaching and have taught AP Biology, various levels of chemistry (academic, honors, and STEM), and physical science. I currently live in Raleigh, NC with my husband Mike (a math teacher at ADMHS), six-year old daughter, two rescued dogs, two rescued turtles, and a ball python.
